Territory Sales Vice President (Dallas or Houston based):
Windy City Wire is a vertically Integrated Distributor of Low Voltage Wire & Cable; our target clientele includes Fire Alarm Integrators, Security/Access Control Integrators, BDA/DAS, Petroleum, the Pro A/V Market, Building Automation Integrators, CCTV Integrators, and the Voice/Data Market, and Petroleum installers.
We are seeking an aggressive, self-sufficient, driven, dynamic sales representative. Must possess an ability to be versatile and adapt and change direction. We focus on strategic selling and promoting an entrepreneurial spirit from within.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for retaining current accounts and growing these accounts with new opportunities within the companies and cultivating new business within your given territory. Responsibilities include job-site training, office-visits, prospecting by phone, industry trade-show attendance, lunch-n-learns and breakfast-n-learns. The main prospects you will be calling on will be Owners, Operations Managers, Project Managers, Engineers & Sales Engineers, Purchasing Agents, Sales Managers and BDM’s. Also, presentations to consultants and specifiers (both virtual & in person) are essential. Cold calling will be required. Your territory would include Texas, Oklahoma & Louisiana, with regional offices and warehouses in Plano and Houston, Texas. Travel will be required up to 60% of the time. Prefer candidate reside in either Dallas or Houston area.
Our Candidate must be able to sell value that far exceeds the price. This position will be part of our Regional Outside Sales Team reporting to the National Sales Manager of Windy City Wire. You will have a Professional Team of Inside Sales Representatives strategically placed throughout the country backing up your efforts for order-entry, quoting, and tracking of shipments. Training program will be provided.
Minimum 5 years outside sales experience. Industry sales experience is a plus.
