SUMMARY OF JOB:

Inside Engineering/Sales for a Manufacture Representative. This job will be supporting outside sales reps who are calling on engineers, contractors, and users. Assist the outside reps with specs, proposals, drawings, whitepapers, and other resources to secure and win projects. This job will also require helping with quotes and helping with day to day operations of selling along with project management and order management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Contribute to the creation and communication of detailed project proposals, both technically and commercially. Help put together presentations for customers on products that Tubbesing Solutions represents. Performs take-offs of plans and specifications, develops pricing estimates and writes the bid proposal. Puts together project plans, and project schedules for the outside sales rep.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

- Provides primary support to the outside sales reps
- Provides bid take offs and proposals for potentials customers.
- Utilizes applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress with sales opportunities along with supporting the outside sales reps
- Communicates effectively with the Zone pre-sales, sales and services organizations to ensure client satisfaction
- Attends conferences and participates in professional organizations related to the industry as needed

Experience

EXPERIENCE—MINIMUM REQUIRED:

1+ years in the construction or engineering field

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1—REQUIRED:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Demonstrates capability to think strategically, develop creative solutions, and execute in a complete and timely manner

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a style that promotes collaboration, consensus and innovation

Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles

Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects

Must be able to shift priorities and move to new task quickly

Must be able to easily adapt to change

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 2—DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

CAD, Word, Excel, Salesforce, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)

Education

EDUCATION—MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL:

BS in Engineering or related Technical Field required
